How long till college? i would say go with a MGW orange short shifter and save up for some 4:10 gears. Be careful when you supercharge the car you do not want to go more than 9psi. If you do you are on borrowed time. you will need to build the bottom end with some better guts if you wish to go higher than 9psi. Look into a centrifigul super charger .. such as paxton and procharger that would be your best bet on a stock bottom. You can push out about 420-450 on the stock block with a really good tune but then again it is a guessing game to see if it goes boom!
i am assuming you got the prokit? If you want it a tad lower just remove the front isolators and the top rear isolators. that is what i did it rides the same and no problems at all. If it is not low enough .. put them back on and cut 3/4 of a coil upfront and half a coil out back .. that will give it a really slammed look but you will need caster camber plates after that to keep it aligned.
