Tony Smith.........Atomic Autosports.......301-610-2020. Remember this for all your car repairs and upgrades. This guy stands behind everything he does. At some point in time, we've all felt ripped off by the car dealers service departments and local shops. Atomic Autosport is NOT a shop that will rip you off. Tony is located in Rockville, MD but it's worth the 30-45 min. drive some of us might have. Hell I would drive a couple hours if I knew I was getting a good service at at a fair price. I cannot say enough about the service this guy has provided to me. I'm writing this as a very satisfied customer of Atomic Autosports. When you talk to Tony tell him Bob Starr sent you.
P.S. As an alternative you could try Excessive Motorsports in Manassas. These guys blew my new engine up on the dyno. When the engine was pulled apart there was a hole in the side of one of the pistons along with damage to most of the rings. The oil pump was shattered in approx. 20 pieces and when all was said and done the block was cracked. This was a $20,000 Sean Hyland engine with less than 1500 miles on it. Everyone I have talked to agrees the damage was caused due to detonation. Excessives response was that the the engine failure was due to parts failure. If anyone is intrested in a $20,000 paper weight let me know. On their behalf, after shelling out more than $6000 in engine repairs (not including labor costs to install the new engine),they did offer to dyno my new engine. Thanks guys but one paper weight is enough.
